Knowledge, skills and abilities (KSA's) are the requirements, an employee must have to successfully perform the duties. It can be said as competency of an employee. Required qualifications and KSA's must be consistent with each other as reflected in the class specification. When preparing a job description, it is important to know that KSA's must link to the tasks performed.
