“I think there are interesting points to both types of sales. I like a longer sales cycle, it gives me a clear idea what the customers are, what they are looking for, what they expect and spend time educating them about the benefits and uses of the product. Shorter cycles are more intense, since you typically don't have the luxury of too much personal knowledge of the customer, or the time for lengthy explanations.” Hitting the high priority topics are extremely necessary and should be done quickly.
