Keep the contact information of your references on a sheet of paper and present it to interviewer when topic comes up. One should provide references of supervisors since these are the people employers want to speak about your work performance. Giving the names of coworkers, friends, family members etc., might be the indication that you don’t want interviewer to contact your superior. If you don’t have work history use teachers or business people you know as references.
