Job description will be used legally in time of accident. The job description would act as beneficial for both employer and employee. It will also be helpful in the time of accident. In case the employee is following all company safety measures and has met with an accident inside the company, the organization is expected to take responsibility for the damages. It would help the employee when he/she is asked to do non-essential functions which are not mentioned in the JD. The employee in such case can lodge a complaint.
